The driveway is in! More slanted than we’d hoped, but the top might be OK for basketball.

It’s official… house has walls.  

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. And with that… we moved out of Timothy Lane for the last time.

Went back to the house to take the last remaining items and take these last pics. And now, it’s time to move on to the next chapter… no looking back.

G asked me to take some pics of the movers in action since he was at school. It ended up taking SO long that he was home from school before the moving van pulled away (and they even had to come back the next day!).  Note to self… we’ve got too much stuff.

Such a bitter sweet day. The movers are coming tomorrow and we’re getting ready. G wanted blow leaves one last time. He even got to cut the grass by himself! C was busy playing in the leave with his friends and we took one last pic with all 3 of the lads on the leaf

On one hand, we’re really going to miss the privacy and beauty of all the leaves we’ve got in our backyard. On the other hand, I won’t miss raking / blowing all of these leaves.

It was pre-drywall walk through day. We took the opportunity to walk through our home with David, moved a few lights (only a few inches each) and found that they’d forgotten to run water lines into our laundry room. Yikes! Guess that’s why we’ve got these meetings!

Making quite a bit of progress. The majority of the wiring is in and we’re getting set for our pre-drywall walk through this week.  Took a trip out to Mom & Dad’s to drop off MORE boxes tonight!
